Sodem Power System are designed for the most demanding orthopedic procedures providing maximum and identical reaming, drilling, sawing and tapping power in either electric, pneumatic or cordless configurations. Surgeons may use either handle, or both, to perform any procedure.

• Oscillating saw adapter - With offset design and four - position rotation for superior access to the surgical site. Accepts Sodem blades up to 120mm long from 0.5 to 1.6 mm thick.
• Reciprocating saw adapter - for large bone osteotomies and removal of femoral head, with four position rotation for maximum convenience, reduced vibrations.
• Sternum saw adapter - for sternal osteomy during primary open heart surgery. Small (children) and large (adult) blade guards available.

• Reaming adapter - with high torque for efficient reaming of acetabulum and femur, smoothing bores. Available with AO opening (PN 1502.IS) that accepts adapter for Charnley, Harris, Hudson, Jacobs,
• Trinkle, Zimmer reamers or built in Hudson opening (PN1502.IH) and Zimmer opening (PN 1502Z).
• 90° Intramedullary reaming adapter with AO fitting - for at-the-site reaming, closer access, improved control for intramedullary nailing.

Radiolucent Drilling

• Radiolucent angled drill adapter - for accurate drilling through distal intramedullary nails, under the image intensifier. The radiolucent angle gearing allows good visibility surgeon remains outside the main area of radiation.

Pulse lavage

• Pulse lavage adapter - for pulsed irrigation during operative procedure in traumatology and in the knee and hip area. Minimizing and quantity of disposal. System is supplemented by disposable parts. Tubings, cannulas and protective equipment.

Power Tapping

• Tapping adapter, AO style - With depth limiter, automatic forward and reverse control, for safe power tapping of previously drilled holes.
